The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, has released a fresh set of rules for road users in Lagos.
The new regulations heralds LASTMA’s new system of booking traffic offenders, instead of impounding vehicles, as is their usual practice.
Moving forward, LASTMA will issue tickets to traffic offenders and allow them to go away with their vehicles, but asked to pay the penalty within a given time.
Anyone who fails to pay-up their penalty will be arrested at home.
