Man trekking from Lagos to Abuja in honour of ‘Buhari’ receives royal welcome in Minna, gets ‘white envelope’ (PHOTOS)

Remember Suleiman Hashimu, the young man who has embarked on a jorurney that no one else has attempted since Nigeria got its independence in 1960.

Well, the Katsina state indigene who was born in Osun state received a royal welcome in Minna on Monday.

He arrived Bida in Minna yesterday after 13 days on the road and covering about 573km.

He was given a royal welcome in Bida Kingdom by HRH Yahaya Abubakar and also handed over a white envelope.

Suleiman intends to reach Abuja by 27th of May and celebrate with the new president at his inauguration ceremony.
