Just last night, like a scene from one of his hit videos, `African queen` crooner and Nigeria`s biggest pop sensation 2face Idibia proposed to his long time partner, Annie Macaulay, opening a spectacular new chapter in their dramatic on/off relationship.

The drama played out on Valentine`s night at club 10 in Victoria Island,  Lagos . According to eye-witness reports, the proud father of 5 children from 3 different mothers (Annie inclusive) who is also expecting a sixth baby took a surprised Annie to a quiet corner and got down on his knees. He then asked her to marry him after giving a short heartfelt speech.

The struggling actress and one time model happily accepted much to the delight of the A-list guests who witnessed the whole display.

We went ahead and caught up with 2face`s manager, Now Muzik`s Efe Omoregbe and he was only too happy to confirm the exciting news.

Excerpts:

YNaija: Congratulations sir, when will we be able to buy Aso Ebi?

Efe: I’ll be a millionaire after the sales of the Aso Ebi o. At least 1million copies will be sold.

YNaija: Did you know about the proposal?

Efe: He mentioned it two days ago but I didn’t know he would do it so soon. This is something 2face had thought of long and hard as he said to me ” I thought you should know I’m considering proposing to Anne, maybe its time to settle down” but I didn’t know  he would do it so soon.

YNaija: With Pero pregnant to deliver in a month, do you think this was a smart move?

Efe: As I said, this is something I’m sure he thought of hard and long before he did so he sure knows what he is doing.

YNaija: What next?

Efe: Well, you will find out as news unfolds, I do wish them all the best. Its important he’s made a decision, we respect it and are happy for him

YNaija: On that comment ‘He sure knows what he is doing’, did he plan to have the six kids?

Efe: There are many things you cant understand from the outside. Many intricacies in the life of a celebrity especially.
