As far as BamBam is concerned, Teddy A has finally put a ring on it [cues in Beyoncé’s Single Ladies]. On Sunday, social media was awash with congratulatory messages for BamBam and Teddy A, who are now officially engaged to each other. The ring was a cute little rock encircling BamBam’s finger, and we can rightfully say that her and Teddy A are on their way to becoming the first Big Brother Naija married couple. In the history of the reality show, no relationship or coupling has geared towards marriage. Their relationship took root in the 2018 season of the show, and amid their romance and one-time scandalous sex in the house, people easily discarded their affair and called it fake. People like me. Anyway, congrats to them!

‘The Set Up’ is good. Go watch it this week
One of this year’s anticipated movies The Set Up premiered last night and gauging by the overwhelming positive reception by attendees in the hall, it would make a good crowd-pleaser when it hits cinemas on Friday. The cast put in impressive performances, but the standout for me was Tina Mba who played the treacherous villain. Give her all the awards.
#TheSetupFilm was the bomb ooooooo. LOVE IT sooooo much!
It’s out August 9 in the cinemas. I have to see it at least 2 more times! The plot was waaaaat!

Pastor Fatoyinbo returns to the pulpit after rape allegation
I have to say that I was completely revulsed by clips of Pastor Fatoyinbo back to COZA, amid the churning rape allegations against. The embattled pastor had stepped down following protests last month, and now he’s welcoming people to the church? Should we galvanize ourselves towards another protest?
Good Morning. Seems like Biodun (COZA) is back on the pulpit and especially welcoming people who joined the church in the last 4 weeks.
All that talk about stepping down was for the birds. We are back to status quo. pic.twitter.com/MA8dYriVFu

Twitter users add ”Revolutionary” to their profile names to rename #FreeSoworeNow
Following the arrest the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress(AAC), Omoyele Sowore by the DSS, Nigerians on Twitter demanded for the release of the human rights activist with the hashtag #FreeSoworeNow, adding “Revolutionary” to their usernames to protest the arrest.

Also, I’m a bit cynical about Sowore leading this protests and part of me think it isn’t altruistic.
Tekno, Tekno, Tekno
Tekno has been in the news lately. When a see-through van showing half-nude strippers dancing and cruising on Victoria Island/Lekki went viral on social media, no one was thinking Tekno. Part of his music video production, the singer has publicly apologized on his Instagram. Also, there was the news of his ailing health and how it gulped a lot of money. That said, I hope he gets better soon.
