Beyoncé is 2017’s Highest Paid Woman in Music

According to Forbes magazine, Queen Bey is this year’s highest-paid woman in music thanks to her $105 million pretax income between June 2016 and July 2017.

Forbes credits Beyoncé‘s financial success to her Lemonade album and her Formation World Tour which grossed about $250 million.

Adele came in second place with an earning of $69 million that mostly came from her “first proper tour since 2011”.

Taylor Swift who used to be on top of the list was swept to number 3 as she only raked in $44 million in the year under review.

 

“Burna Boy is not in any way involved in the robbery and beating up of Mr 2kay”

The ‘Rock Your Body’ singer’s management released an official statement clarifying the conflicting reports making the rounds as regards Burna Boy’s involvement in Mr 2Kay’s robbery.

The statement partly reads, “The first and only invitation Burna Boy has ever received from the police was issued yesterday Nov 20th, 2017. This invitation was honored yesterday Nov 20th, 2017 and it has been made clear that he is happy to cooperate with the police as best as he can.”

Contrary to reports, Burna Boy’s management says their artiste has not been served a warrant or declared wanted.

Big Brother Naija finalist, Bisola Aiyeola may have just officially launched her music career.

The actress, singer, OAP and comic act has released her first single titled ‘Luchia’ and it comes month after she signed on to talent management company, Temple Music.

 

Chrissy Teigen is pregnant with baby number 2

John Legend is about to be a daddy again.

His 31-year-old wife, Chrissy Teigen made the announcement via Instagram on Tuesday in a video she captioned: It’s john’s!

John left a comment on the post saying, “Maury will have the final word on this.

Teigen recently made her fertility struggles open stating that she and John have been trying to have another baby since their first daughter, Luna Simone who is now 19-months old.

Luna arrived in April 2016 three years after the couple tied the knot.

 

Tiwa Savage denies pregnancy rumours

Well unlike Chrissy Teigen, Tiwa Savage says she’s not pregnant but only “gained happy weight”.

Linda Ikeji’s Blog had earlier published an ‘exclusive report’ claiming the singer is expecting her second child due to arrive in 2018.

But the ‘Malo’ singer refuted the claims in an Instagram post partly captioned: “Sorry this ISNT true guys”.
