President Muhammadu Buhari, received a grand reception as he arrived Niger Republic, earlier today, Wednesday, June 3.

Buhari was received at the airport by Niger President, Mahamadou Issoufou, and other personalities.

On Tuesday, June2, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, had released a statement that Buhari would be embarking on trip to Niger and Chad to explore ways of curbing the activities of the Boko Haram sect.

“Buhari will go to Niger Republic tomorrow (Wednesday) and will spend a night there before proceeding to Chad the next day (Thursday),” Shehu had said.
