Umar Mustapha who was arrested for the bombing of ThisDay newspapers in April last year has been sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour by the Federal High Court in Abuja today. Mustapha had bombed the newspaper’s office in Kaduna using 12 camp gas cylinders.
The attack also brought down the offices of The Sun and Moment, and left at least 10 people dead.
The presiding judge was Justice Adeniyi Ademola.
