President Goodluck Jonathan arrived in Abuja from his aborted attendance at the 23rd Ordinary Session of African Union Heads of States and Government in Malabo due to the terrorist attack at the Banex Plaza, Wuse 2 in the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday.
The president arrived with the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan has was received by top government functionaries at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja late this evening.
In the president’s absence, Vice President Namadi Sambo today visited the scene of the blast and expressed his sadness at the extent of damage done by the bomb which reportedly killed at least twenty people with seventeen injured.
