The Nigerian Army says the mastermind of the recent bombings in Zaria and Jos, has been arrested.

The unnamed individual was reportedly apprehended at a checkpoint in Gombe state.

The development was disseminated through the Twitter account of the Defence Headquarters, this afternoon, July 8.
