Key members of the Peoples Democratic Party from the Southwest zone have momentarily put aside their differences, and have come together to deliberate on the future of the zone in the opposition party.

Before the meeting which held on Wednesday, in Akure, the South West rank of the former ruling party was reported to be divided over the recently released zoning formula of the PDP.

A large crop of key members of the party in the South West cried marginalisation when the zone was not apportioned the juicy position of party chairman while another faction seemed to be interested in other matters.

From the chumminess displayed by the party chieftains at the meeting, one would think there were all on the same page.
