On first sight, she might come across as another celebrity wife who has nothing up her sleeves. But Chrissy Teigen is not only Mrs Legend, she is one of the most influential females in present day America when it comes to driving conversations. You see her in all her vanity on Lip Sync Battle America but she’s a different person on social media, especially Twitter.
Married to one of the world’s finest musicians, John Legend, Teigen is a model and author of a famous cookbook. Not only is her cookbook famous and widely-accepted, her clapbacks are changing the way many of us respond to social media bullying and silliness. Solid stuff!
Here’s some for your notepads just in case:
She keeps coming for Donald Trump
In an interview with Glamour magazine, Teigen said of the infamous US presidential candidate: “I hate Trump. I find him to be a vile human being – one that lies so often, so casually, and with such confidence, that fact-checkers actually cannot keep up. It is one thing after another, daily. He is a misogynist and a racist; he is thin-skinned and beyond unqualified to be president.”
See some of her responses to Trump’s recklessness:

Somehow she couldn’t let Kim Kardashian off on this one. Maybe Kim wasn’t referring to physical tools but Chrissy had to come for her (they still remain friends though)…

Twitter will not forget the time Chrissy Teigen dragged British TV host, Piers Morgan through hell and back over comments he made about the late Muhammad Ali being racist. This time, she was joined by her husband…
Muhammad Ali said far more inflammatory/racist things about white people than Donald Trump ever has about Muslims. #fact

Why would stating that Muhammad Ali made a lot of inflammatory, race-charged statements in his life be remotely controversial? He did.

We wonder how much longer for Chrissy Teigen on her clapback throne.
