A couple of hours ago, we decided to check on Reno Omokri, you know, the pastor turned social media assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan (a.k.a) Wendell Simlin.
And here’s what we found:
“You can’t cheat on girlfriend. You only cheat on wives. Sex with girlfriend is itself cheating. Sex is exclusively for marriage #RenosNuggets”.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Because we are reasonable people, we held back from calling instant BS. The problem, though, is that we have tried (GUYS! we even tried that tactic where you leave it and come back with fresh eyes) but it still doesn’t make sense!

If we assume he means sleeping with a girlfriend is cheating because you are cheating on your future wife, then the question is: “what if you never get married”? Then it means you have not cheated. Abi?

Besides, it appears we have missed a fundamental question, what does Wendell (sorry, Reno) understand cheating to be? Does he also think “you can’t cheat on test. You only cheat on exam”?
Again, you can’t cheat on girlfriend… Sex with girlfriend is itself cheating??? What if you are not sexually active with girlfriend? Does that mean you have not cheated… on wives; on girlfriend? On anyone at all?
We are just full of many questions!
Is he saying we should not have girlfriends?
Or we sould not have sex with girlfriends?
By the way, what’s his take on sex with sex workers?
