Mr Ademola Adeleke, younger brother to the late Isiaka Adeleke emerged winner of the Osun West Senatorial elections on Saturday.
Somebody say “just like that”.
According to the results below, Mr Adeleke swept the polls in all but one local government area -10 out of 11- effectively owning the people’s mandate by 97, 280 votes against his opponent’s Mudashiru Hussein 66, 115 votes.

Premium Times reports that the late Isiaka Adeleke held that particular senatorial seat until he passed in April. And his younger brother initially sought the APC ticket but was denied, so he defected to PDP and brought home the win.
As you might imagine, PDP is pretty stocked about this win.
