All hail the new queen of the music industry- Adele.
The singer sashayed her way into the history books as she broke the single-week U.S. album sales record with her latest chart-topping album 25.
According to music sales tracking company, Nielsen, the highly anticipated album, which the singer withheld from music streaming services has sold more than 2.4 million copies in just four days.
25 is now the fastest-selling album in 10 years, after former record holders, Nsync’s album No Strings Attached, sold 2.4 million in 2000 during its first week of release.
We expected this. Didn’t we?
