It’s not every day you see the son of HRH Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo serenade an audience but this is no ordinary prince.
PrinceTillaman, the singer that brought us ‘Pu’Yanga’, ‘Fori Fori’ and ‘Trying’ has been dropping hits and rocking stages from continent to continent. The title of his new song is ‘Baba Dadi Won’ and the video was shot by veteran director Gini.
Serving as a form of re-introduction, the video is themed around a battle for supremacy between himself and his alter-ego; Tilla vs. Tillaman.
Tillaman who has been hiding his identity as a prince for years, has finally decided to come back home and shoot a new video at the Palace. This is his way of informing his fans and the media of his status after residing in the UK.
He is currently signed to Euphoric Heritage Records, a label that very much shares the same vision, culture and direction as him.
The video drops next Friday 9, December, 2011.
