Big Brother does indeed breed strange bed fellows. On their first night back together, Miss P slept in Alex’s arms, Vina once again found her way to Lomwe’s bed and restless Karen hopped into bed alongside Zeus. She would later pounce on him again in the bedroom and beg him to kiss her.

The week’s task was to involve interior decoration plus landscaping and the mates, buoyed by the success of the previous weeks, went all the way and wagered 100%.

The task was cut short though as there was a power outage that left the entire house enveloped in darkness. Housemates had to grope in the darkness, unaware that it is another ploy by Big Brother, this time to raise awareness about using renewable energy.

Worried about the fish in the tank, Big Brother soon installed a generator that would power the tank and ordered the gang to move the frozen foods to the store room where he could refrigerate it for them.

Chat sessions had to be conducted with markers and white boards, with house mates writing down what they needed to communicate.

Zeus wrote an apology to his girlfriend for letting Karen spend the night in his bed while Millicent had a rant about the cold reception she got from the Tails’ chicks upon her entrance, as engineered by Weza who by the way is a shadow of her former self and now keeps her own company.

Nostalgia set in big time as housemates set up a fire place and gathered around with the women bent over pots and pans and the guys having a gay old time playing football and basketball.

As the show gets even more amplified, Karen was caught in a rare moment of insecurity as she cornered Lomwe and queried him about her sexuality and her chances in the game. A non-plussed Lomwe advised her to be honest and just take her time.

Meanwhile, Miss P, Kim and Bernadina had fun at night jumping up and down the couches and breaking beds.
