Out with the old and in with the sexy new! Presenting YNaija 2.0

by Sola Fasasi

The high priest of Nigerian youth culture has just released YNaija 2.0 – an all-new website! Armed with comments and suggestions from our readers, we have been had at work for the past few months, tweaking, re-aligning and remodelling. Our plan was two-fold – to make www.ynaija.com simpler and sexier – and we didn’t release the site until we had exactly what we wanted.

The spanking new YNaija is now easier on the eyes and we’re absolutely crazy about it. Even the readers love it already! Immediately after the new site launched, comments started to pour in on social networks: Esther Eshiet said ‘Love the space management and the touch of my favourite colour; purple!’

She’s right on the mark, as one of the best things about the new site is that you can now easily find your favourite column – be it Y! Daily, Twitter Round-Up, Scene!, Music, Style, – it’s all right there on our new home page. Skip over to the right and you can see our most recent posts, comments from readers, tags and our all time most popular posts. Scroll down to see our weekly polls and a new section where you can watch Videos, Music & More!

We’ll tell you what hasn’t changed though. We’re still pushing the envelope to maintain our position as the authoritative voice on all things young and Nigerian. We are hard at work to bring you well-written pieces encompassing entertainment, lifestyle and culture – nobody gives it to you like YNaija does!

If you haven’t seen the new site, we have to ask, ‘where have you been?’ Check it out now and give us your feedback on Twitter (@YNaija), by email ([email protected]) or by leaving a comment right on www.ynaija.com. Do you love it? We can’t wait to get your feedback!
