A case of child abuse has come to fore from a children’s home in Mehrauli area in south Delhi.

The child, who is around 10-years-old, has alleged in his complaint that he was sodomized by two youths on the institution premises.

Besides the home administration, the child had also complained to an NGO official who approached the police in turn.

The cops have lodged an FIR under appropriate sections of IPC and POCSO Act and are investigating the matter. No arrests have been made yet.

The child has deposed before the magistrate and recorded his statement under 164 CrPC as well.
