Bez gives More You

This weekend, the latest music sensation in the country and alternative soul wiz,
Bez, under the CAMP label, released his debut video.
The video is for the song – More You, directed by Kemi Adetiba of K’Alpha
Innovations, who also gave us Omawumi’s Today na Today and the Maga no
Need Pay videos. She was co-editor and cinematographer for the video – which
was shot in Lagos.
The song of course was produced by Cobhams, who is also CEO of CAMP.
Tinsel on the Mo!
Mo Abudu, Executive Producer and Hostess of Africa’s first syndicated talk show,
Moments with Mo, makes a guest appearance on Tinsel, MNET’s highly rated
soap opera. Moments with Mo made its debut in 2007, and so far, over 200
episodes, and counting have been aired, featuring a wide array of guests that
range from presidents and celebrities to regular everyday people. Now in its third
season, Tinsel, with an all-star cast that includes Funmilola Aofiyebi-Raimi and
Victor Olaotan, has grown into its own.
Catch Mo sharing some “delightful moments” with Tinsel, 4pm on Friday 27 and
Monday 30 August, 2010 on MNET West.
Monica and Shehu out of Project Fame
This weekend, two more contestants were eliminated from MTN’s Project Fame
West Africa competition. Monica Abania (24 year old student of the Ebonyi
State University) and Shehu (30 year old and from Kaduna), were two of the
five contestants with the lowest amount of public votes today. The others were
Adebola, Vwede and Rhoda.
After the announcement, they were given one last chance to perform the songs
they sang the week before. The judges’ choice was Rohade whjile the Faculty
chose Adebola to stay. This was interestingly the same choices they made last
week.
With three contestants left, those contestants who were not part of the five on
probation voted and Vwede had the highest number of votes thereby saving him
from elimination. No one saved Shehu and Monica and they were automatically
eliminated from MTN Project Fame West Africa.
Monica performed Six Pence None the Richer’s Kiss me while Shehu delivered
Everything I do by Bryan Adams.
Six contestants have now left the show, and now there are 12 left in the
Academy.
