Seun Salami’s book reading at EightTwentyTwo Integrated Advertising in Ikeja on Sunday, 20 November 2011 was an impressive event. It was an evening of simplicity as friends and associates turned out to hear the new author read from his first collection of short stories titled ‘The son of your father’s concubine.’
Joining him to read from his book were motivational speaker Steve Harris, gospel singer Nikki Laoye and Damilola Oluwatoyinbo of The Debaters fame.
Mr. Salami was in good company surrounded by his family and mentors like Fela Durotoye, Chude Jideonwo of RED, Toyosi Akerele of RISE, Francis Adeshina of EightTwentyTwo Integrated Advertising, Damilola Oyedele, former online editor of YNaija, and Anita Okanigbe-John, author of ‘Miracle in the Storm.’
The literary event was hosted by Bankole Williams, author of ‘Engaged to a Job I hate’ and there were performances by Desanya Sax, Ese Peters and Viva.
