#BringBackOurGirls: Rihanna’s current Twitter avatar looks something like this (SNAPSHOT)

Rihanna has been noticeably absent on Instagram for more than a week now, after her account was suspended, but she has been very active on Twitter.

Just yesterday, the singer changed her Twitter avatar to a photo of a man wearing a white T-shirt with “#BringBackOurGirls Now!” written on it in black.

With this, Rihanna has now joined a long list of international celebrities who have lent their voices to the outcry for the release of the schoolgirls who were abducted in Chibok, Borno State, by Boko Haram members on April 14, 2014.

Rihanna also changed her header to a black background with the words SOMA to join hands in support and prayer for the 274 people who died after a mine explosion in Soma, Turkey.

The death count for the victims is still rising as they continue to search through debris with many more people unaccounted for.

If you ever thought Riri was some kind of shallow, self-absorbed celeb, then you better think again. She does have a heart and she cares (or it appears so).
