President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday, had a meeting with the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
The trio are reported to have had discussions at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The revered cleric was said to have arrived the President’s office inside the Vice President’s official car, alongside Osinbajo, at about 12.30pm.
Upon his arrival, Adeboye was led straight into the President’s office by the Vice President.
Liberian President Ellen John Sirleaf was said to have concluded a meeting with President Buhari, minutes before Adeboye’s arrival.
Pastor Adeboye reportedly spent about 15 minutes with the President before leaving the Villa.
When asked by journalists to explain the purpose of his visit, he was said to have raised up his hand and said “God bless you.”
Shortly after he departed the president’s office, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, also arrived at the State House to meet with the President.
