Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will on Thursday September 15, 2016 hold a retreat to deliberate on the 2017 budget.

This is according to a statement signed by the Media Adviser to the Minister of Budget and National Planning, James Akpandem on Thursday.

According to the statement the retreat would hold at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja, and discussions would centre on the priority areas of the 2017 budget.

The statement said that, “The key objective of the retreat is to discuss the 2017 budget as well as discuss steps that are being taken to get the economy out of recession”.

President Muhammadu Buhari, Vi\ce President Professor Yemi Osinbajo are expected to be at the retreat.
