Premier League club, Manchester United has said that its players will wear black armbands to honour seven Nigerian football fans who died last week Thursday in Calabar, Cross River while watching the team’s Europa League quarterfinal match against Belgium side, Anderlecht.

The fans died when a high tension electricity wire fell on the viewing centre leading to their electrocution.

Recall that the club sent its condolence via a tweet mourning the departure of the fans.
