This Should Concern You: Call For Applications – Empowering Youth For Effective Policy Advocacy (‘Emplay’)

In a bid to sustain responsible youth civic engagement in democracy, the National Endowment for Democracy, Washington DC and Youth Action Initiative Africa calls for application for EMPLAY program.

 EMPLAY is being implemented to equip young people with the requisite policy advocacy skills needed to engage government at all levels. EMPLAY session covers specialized topics on Policy and Law making, Building and Maintaining Networks and Coalitions, Community Mobilization, Gender Mainstreaming, Social Media and social accountability, Budget tracking & Monitoring.  

The training is also designed to harvest ideas on research strategies useful in tracking performance of government in key sectors of the economy.  

Interested participants must be young people between the ages of 18 – 30 and resident in any part of Nigeria.
