Cancelled! Nigerian Breweries confirm Star Mega Jam will not hold

Nigerian Breweries Plc has announced that due to logistics challenges, the annual music concert, Star Mega Jam, will not take place this year.

In a statement by the Corporate Affairs Adviser, Mr Yusuf Ageni, the company regretted all inconveniences this  will cause the fans, who have been eagerly awaiting this year’s edition of Star Mega Jam.

Star Mega Jam, started in 2000, is an annual music concert sponsored by the Star brand. It features international artistes alongside the best of Nigerian music superstars and has become the benchmark for musical concerts in Nigeria in terms of music and entertainment with an international flavour. Star has brought an impressive list of international artistes to delight its consumers in a world class stage over the last eleven years.

Some of the international stars that have featured on Star Mega Jam include Awilo Logomba, Shaggy, Usher Raymond, Koffi Olumide, Ja Rule, Kevin Little, LL Cool J, Akon, Kanye West, T-Pain, Nas, Nelly, Busta rhymes, Ludacris and most recently R.Kelly.
