The singer went from America’s most loved to public enemy number one after he hit his then girlfriend, Rihanna.

The 26-year-old singer revealed this in a trailer for his upcoming documentary – Welcome to my Life – released on Monday(today).

“Like real life rockstars. It was like a fairy tale. I went from being on top of the world. Number one songs, being kind of like America’s sweetheart, to being public enemy number one. I felt like a f–king monster.”

“I was thinking about suicide and everything else. I wasn’t sleeping. I wasn’t eating. I was just getting high.”
