[The Church Blog] Once again, The Experience 2017 was a hit (PHOTOS) #TE12

The Experience 2017

What a way to begin the month!

Friday, 1st December 2017 will go down in in the minds of people as one of the unforgettable moments ever experienced. The 12th Edition of The Experience which took place at The Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos could unarguably pass as the world’s biggest Christian music concert.

Once again, The Experience proved to us that she is capable of dismantling the barriers of political affiliations, ethnicity and doctrinal differences through God inspired music. Tafawa Balewa Square was full to overflowing as many could not even get a seat inside the auditorium.

What a wawu!

The Experience 2017 was opened with prayers by Rev. Victor Adeyemi of Global Harvest Church after which the LMGC took over in their yearly fashion. After which we had Beejay Sax, then Sonnie Badu, then Micah Stampley and every other person on the list of headliners. The flow from one performer to the other was in a seamless fashion.

We danced with reckless abandon, we sang, we laughed we praised and we listened to God’s word. Tim Godfrey did not leave anything to chance as he effortlessly kept the energy on a high during his ministration.

And the performance that featured Nathaniel Bassey, Travis Greene, Micah Stampley and Donnie Mc Clurkin, Heavenly! You know how it is when you have 4 of your favourite musicians on one stage at the same time. Maybe we should start thinking of a groundbreaking collabo ahead of 2019.

The event also hosted the crème de la crème of society. From politicians to diplomats to industry icons and of course, spiritual leaders.

The Experience 2017 did not come to an end without the stellar ministration from the force that knows how to break barriers – Tope Alabi. How she continues to remain culturally relevant across generations still marvels us.

Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, House and the Rock Church, members, of the body of Christ all over, Lagos, Nigeria and the rest of the world.
