A truck, belonging to the Dangote Group of Companies was intercepted by the Kebbi State Police Command, ThisDay reports.
176 sacks of 50kg of suspected Indian hemp was found in the truck with the registration number: Kano SML 124 XA.
The commissioner of police in the state, Kabiru Ibrahim said the lone suspect, one Aliyu Sani was apprehended at Koko area of the state.
Ibrahim said the consignment was loaded from Ogere in Ogun state and was heading for Bodinga town, the headquarters of Bodinga Local Government Area in Sokoto State.
