Art X Lagos began last night and somehow it managed to top all the excitement we had prior to the event. Hard to believe, but leave it to the incredible Art X Lagos team to beat all of Lagos’ collective imagination.

The venue, Civic Centre was filled to capacity with individuals from all walks of life including celebrities, politicians, art enthusiasts, as well as the artists themselves.

While we were walking through, admiring the art works, guess who walked in. The Emir of Kano! Yes, Muhammad Sanusi II was there.

And he was not given a breathing space, as everyone wanted to catch a glimpse of him.

The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed and the CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele were also present at the opening night.
