‘Please don’t do this to Africa’ | DJ Spinall begs Psquare to reunite (READ)

Popular Disc Jockey- DJ Spinall has appealed with embattled Nigerian music group- Psquare to sheathe their swords and get back together.

Africa’s biggest music group, Psquare – made up of Peter and Paul Okoye – has been under the spotlight in recent weeks, as a result of the acrimony between Peter and elder brother/former manager, Jude Okoye.

Following Peter’s severing of ties with Jude’s management company, Northside Entertainment, both members of Psquare subsequently released solo singles.

Many fans perceived this action to be the signal that the end of Psquare is nigh.

To avert such a scenario, many music industry heads and Psquare fans have been advocating for peace and possibly- a reunion of the group.

One of such persons is DJ Spinall, who took to his Instagram page, to state that ‘Psquare is the last surviving and biggest hope of African music collaboration’.

He wrote: “I know that partners and relationships grow to a point where change and the thirst to do new and maybe bigger things becomes imperative but for the sake of African music legacy, Psquare is the last surviving and biggest hope of African music collaboration of today.”

“And the believe we your fans have in your craft is sensitive and deep motivation. Our love for you is deeper than just music.
Please don’t do this to Africa.”
