The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has released details of his salaries from October 2016 to March 2017.
This comes after Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai released his pay slip and details of his security vote, while daring Dogara and other lawmakers to do same.

According to the document he released, the speaker gets paid N402,530.37, but his net salary after deductions after tax tallies at N346,577.87.
A breakdown shows that his basic salary is N206,425.83; Constituency, N175,461.96; and Recess, N20,642.58.
The Chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Mr. Abdulrazak Namdas on Tuesday also said El-Rufai published “security budget of the Kaduna State Government”, and not “security vote of the governor”.
He challenged el-Rufai to publish his security vote, not the funds budgeted for security projects by the state government.
