The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, Haliru Gwandu has said he is yet to get any reports of violence from the ongoing Edo governorship election.

Gwandu said everything has been going smoothly.

“No adverse report so far. Anywhere we have a challenge, we try as much as possible to fortify the place. Everything has been going smoothly,” he said.

He also said security agencies have been able to maintain law and order.

However, Governor Adams Oshiomhole has said there are reports of “sporadic shootings.”
