The Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II on Thursday met with Acting President Yemi Osinbajo behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to reports, Sanusi arrived the presidential villa at about 2.40 pm and emerged from the venue of the meeting at about 4.50pm.
The emir however refused to tell State Correspondents the purpose of the meeting.
The Kano House of Assembly recently dropped its investigation into alleged funds misappropriation in the Kano emirate.
The Acting President had also met with leaders from the North and South-East over the quit notice some youths in the North handed down people of the South East to leave their region on or before October 1.
Meeting between two academic juggernauts is always productive to the society.
