Emphirical comes home

The duo known as Emphirical ( www.myspace.com/emphirical ) who released two singles for the general Afro Pop music lover in 2009 – Bread n Butter Featuring Mo’Cheddah & Ejekajo – have announced plans for their debut album due out in December 2010. The albums will feature what their manager, Alex Yangs, calls “great collaborations and amazing songs, a few of which have been performed at some high level event within the UK, and Africa.”

The Duo, who are also signed to Vype Records, are set to releases the track “that is believed to be the song that will draw the African continent to their music and brand” with a smooth blend of Pidgin English, Wollof, and Highlife production by DJ Klem.
The song was performed for the President Of Gambia in July and also at a 15,000+ capacity crowd event sponsored by one of Gambia’s telecoms giant.

“The Duo hopes to become a household name in Africa, with the west of Africa being its first target,” Yangs says. “Plans are also underway for their videos… so expect everything!”
