Patoranking allegedly detained at Ugandan airport
Ugandan publication, Red Pepper on Wednesday reported that reggae star Patoranking – who made a stop in Uganda a day earlier to promote his debut album – was allegedly detained at the country’s Entebe airport for not ‘gaining entry visa and adhering to check-in rules.’
A source told the publication that the singer was rude to security officials and disobeyed check in rules which led to him being detained for 7 hours.
“He was just told to remove his cap for security check-up but he chose not to listen to instructions. He was denied entry and arrested for disobeying lawful check in orders.,” the source told Red Pepper.
Red Pepper however said the singer was released later after pleading with officials after which he headed to Hotel Africana to meet with journalists.
However, Patoranking’s publicist reportedly told Pulse Nigeria yesterday that Red Pepper’s reports are ‘lies.’
Eminem and Drake about to go at each other?
The internet is going crazy after Hot 97 radio presenter Ebro revealed that the American rappers – Eminem and Drake might be throwing diss records at each other soon.
Drake has been having a small rap battle of his with Joe Budden who is signed under Eminem’s record label. However it appears Eminem is about to take sides with Joe and come down on the Canadian rapper who seems ready for him.
“I told Drake that I heard the rumor was Eminem was going to gear up to come after him,” Ebro revealed on Hot 97’s morning show. “He laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen.’ He’s like, ‘He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him, too.’” Ebro said on his show on Wednesday, August 3 2016.
It is however strange that a beef of any sort would occur between these two who have collaborated on some of the biggest rap tracks including Drake’s Forever and more.
Only time will tell.
