Rachel Roy and Rita Ora dismiss rumours of having an affair with Jay Z

Since the release of Beyonce‘s Lemonade in which Beyonce insinuated Jay Z was cheating with a certain ‘Becky with the good hair’, there have been waves of social media attacks by the Beyhive on Fashion designer, Rachel Roy and Rita Ora for allegedly being ‘Becky’.

Both celebrities have however come out to quell the situation by dismissing speculations of being the Rap mogul’s side-dish.

Rachel Roy, who was the first to face the heat, issued a statement to People magazine where she said there was no truth in the rumours.

“I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that,” she said.

“There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors. “Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats. As a mother – and I know many mothers would agree – I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable. I would hope that the media sees the real issue here – the issue of cyber bullying – and how it should not be tolerated by anyone.

Rita Ora however opted for a couple of tweets to address the issue
