Batwoman Series in works at CW

Variety reports that The CW is developing a series about the DC superhero that would debut in 2019.  News of the development comes after the network announced in May that the character would appear in the annual crossover event between four of the CW’s DC shows: “The Flash,” “Arrow,” “Legends of Tomorrow,” and “Supergirl.”

This adaptation is to become the first live-action superhero series with an openly gay lead character.


Recording Academy announces date, deadlines for 2019 Grammy Awards

The Recording Academy and CBS announced that the 61st annual Grammy Awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019.

Nominations will be announced in all 84 categories on Wednesday, December 5 and will honour recordings released between October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018.


Paramount Network sets premiere date for Paul Walker documentary 

Paramount Network is set to air a documentary celebrating the life of the late Paul Walker on Saturday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

I Am Paul Walker” features family footage and interviews with Walker’s family and friends including “Fast and Furious” franchise co-star Tyrese Gibson and director Rob Cohen, “Running Scared” director Wayne Kramer, both of Walker’s parents, his brothers, and his sister.
