Israel delays an election because of Britney Spears’ concert

Sometimes you have to push work aside a little just so you can catch some good fun.

Toxic singer, Britney Spears’ first concert in Israel was scheduled for 3rd July in Tel Aviv, same day the country’s Labor Party planned on holding its primary election.

To avoid conflict, the election was moved to 4th July and according to a spokesperson for the party, the move was made to “make it easier for people to reach polling stations“.

The spokesperson also added that they had difficulty recruiting security guards for the previous date of the election as apparently most of the city’s security guards were booked for Britney’s concert.
