Welcome to today’s Entertainment Roundup of news from your favourite celebrities in Nigeria and around the world.
This morning, we have stories about Linda Ikeji, Peter Okoye and Kanye West, who is still ranting on Twitter- a regular occurrence nowadays.
The Curious case of Linda Ikeji and her ‘N4.8 million’ original Hermes Bag
Here’s what happened while some of you might have been asleep.
Africa’s most popular and probably the most richest blogger, Linda Ikeji, recently acquired a Birkim hand-made bag by Hermes- which are very expensive and in the range of $11,550 to $150,000.
Upon purchase, she took to Instagram to celebrate her new acquisition- which wasn’t met with the fanfare she had hoped for- as some Instagram trolls accused her of buying a ‘fake’ bag.
However, things got to a boiling point when one of Linda’s bag-critics allegedly contacted Hermes to find out if the bag was original- to which the luxury brand supposedly replied- saying it was a counterfeit.
This really got to the blogger, and she took to Instagram to post different angles of the bag, insisting on the bag’s authenticity.
To convince the naysayers, Linda even went as far as revealing that she bought the bag in the UK for $14,000- which is about 4.8 million in naira.
Peter Okoye Vs Jude Okoye
There is trouble in the Psquare household- between with the groups’s manager/video director, Jude Okoye and Peter Okoye.
Peter went on on a Twitter rant in the wee hours of this morning, to talk about how fed up he is, with Jude Okoye and his Northside Management.

Kanye West’s latest Twitter drama
You are welcome to another episode of Kanye West’s Twitter drama.
Just in case you missed it, America’s President in-waiting hopped on Twitter late last night to criticise the expensive cost of textbooks in schools in the United States.
Kanye also used the opportunity to talk about his Vison 2020 plan to solve this… anomaly.

Kim Kardashian not so happy about Kanye’s Twitter fingers
According to the grapevine, Kanye’s recent spate of Twitter meltdown is causing some friction in his marriage.
According to a People source, although Kim is being a very supportive wife and cheers him on in public, the social media rants don’t really sit well with her.
“What causes friction in the marriage, however, is Kanye’s compulsive tweeting. Kim can’t stand it. She is all for self-promotion, but doesn’t approve of Twitter drama,” a source told the magazine.
