Titilayo, wife of Brig. Gen. Oluwole Rotimi (retd.), who was abducted two weeks ago by unknown gunmen has regained her freedom.

She was kidnapped in front of her company, AOK Logistics Limited when she was about leaving the premises.

The wife of the former governor of the old Western Region was reportedly found on the Lagos-Ijebu-ode road, near Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Ayodele Lanade, said, “We learnt that she became conscious shortly after being released by her captors. She regained consciousness and was crying. We gathered that she walked up to a woman who told her where she was and called her relatives.”

Her release has been confirmed by sources close to the family but it is not clear if any ransom was paid to secure her release.
