A fire broke out in the wee hours of this morning at about 4am on Market street, Lagos Island.

The market, which is popularly called ‘Berlin market’, is situated between the FCMB and CBN buildings.

The market has almost been completely razed, as at the time of this report.

Firefighters have been trying to put out the inferno since it started.
