Four persons were shot dead, on Saturday night, at a drinking pub in Port Harcourt, while two others were allegedly killed in related circumstance.
Although the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Muhammad, countered the latter report, he however, confirmed the former, saying the police is aware of only the four that died at the drinking spot on yesterday.
Muhammad added that the second incident had not been reported to the police.
Apparently, those shot dead were drinking when some gunmen, suspected to be members of a cult, alighted from their vehicle and opened fire at them.
The other two killed that were allegedly eating in a restaurant at about 10pm on Thursday night when unknown gunmen stormed the place killing them on the spot.
