Fuel price: NLC to hold meeting NEC to review strike

After a failed nationwide strike, the Nigerian Labour Congress has scheduled a meeting of its National Executive Council (NEC) and its National Administrative Council (NAC)- on Monday and Sunday, respectively.

The trade union is expected to discuss the proposal made by the national leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu, and also review its position on the strike.

The industrial action by the NLC had failed woefully as Nigerians had generally ignored the trade union while some NLC affiliate group, such as Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) had pulled out.
