By now stories of kids getting plastic surgeries as birthday presents probably come as a shock to nobody. But here’s something of a new twist to the trend; a father performing his own daughter’s breast enhancement surgery for her 18th birthday. The daughter, Brittani, now 23, has also received a nose job from her father when she was 21.

She described the day she got the surgery as “one of the best days” of her life. “I didn’t have large breasts when I was younger, and all my friends did,” she said. “I felt very self-conscious about it.

This story, as well as that of Fashion Police host Joan Rivers, and a woman who got her boobs done at 83, are part of “The Cutting Edge,” a new episode of “20/20” set to air on ABC Friday, 10 p.m. EST.

The episode is said to focus on several “trends,” including plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancement spanning the generations and what kind of procedures men like to get.
