For the 28th consecutive year, Elite Model Management Paris, the organiser of Elite Model Look, the largest, most glamorous and most prestigious model search competition in the world, is organizing a nationwide search in Nigeria for Elite’s 37 worldwide agencies. Over the years, Elite has developed an unrivaled ability to scout new talent through the Elite Model Look competition thus proving to be an instant and guaranteed boost to the winners’ modeling careers, surpassing any of their dreams. The group’s clientele includes leading fashion houses and famous individuals, including Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Versace, L’Oreal, Vogue, Elle and many more.

The Elite Model Look contest is a prestigious event open to beginners with a professional goal: looking for and discovering the young hopefuls who will become the future top modelsEach year, Elite Model Look competition sees over 350,000 female contestants between Age 14 to 22, attending national casting held in over 80 countries around the world.

From a rigorous selection process, at least one contestant in each country is selected in the National Final and gets to participate in the main event: the international final, with $325,000 of modeling contract at stake.

Elite representatives from Paris will choose the finalists from the National Finals in Lagos on August 16, 2011.

Selected contestants will be accommodated in August for a week of intensive grooming. This training will cover all the professional aspects of modeling. The 14 finalists will experience and undergo fitness training, makeovers, nutrition lectures, professional photo sessions as well as a run through of the event.

Elite model look Nigeria Finale would be held on 3rd September 2011 at the Civic Center Lagos, Nigeria. If you think you have what it takes to become a model, don’t let the chance to be discovered slip away. The Elite team will be touring Nigeria on the following dates;

July 9th  Port harcort – X-Lounge Bar.

July 16th Benin – Lincx Bar.

 July 30th  Lagos – Rehab pool lounge,

 August 6th  Abuja – Terminal 5 Bar.

To take part in one of the Elite Model Look castings, applicants:

– Must be Female

– Must be A Nigerian Citizen

– Must be Aged between 14 and 23

– Must be At least 5’8 in or 172cm tall

– Must have no signed contract with any Agency in Nigeria (Very important)

– Must be ready to travel abroad

– Must be A genuine interest in a modeling career.


– The winner of Elite Model Look International gets a chance to win a modeling contract with Elite Model Management.

– An All expense paid trip to New York City

– The Opportunity to represent Nigeria at the Elite Model Look Finale in Asia 2011

– A chance to win $150,000 at the international finals.
