Hollywood actress narrowly misses trashy in this weird cut-out dress – See Photos

It was a night of undoubted glamour.

And British actress Emma Watson certainly flew the flag for the UK at The People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening in a very short graphic cut-out dress which accentuated her slender figure.

Emma, 22, opted for an unusual thigh skimming Peter Pilotto dress for the glitzy awards bash, where she picked up Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress for movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Emma accentuated her bright dress with some simple black sandals which showed off her toned legs to perfection.

The Harry Potter actress looked delighted to pick up an award at the ceremony, which is known as the younger, funkier sibling of the Golden Globes and the Oscars.

And during the ceremony, nerves obviously high the young actress was seen cosying up to Wallflower co-star Ezra Miller, who looked dashing in a grey suit.

Actors Nicholas Braun, Ezra Miller, Mae Whitman and Johnny Simmons, with writer-director Stephen Chbosky were thrilled as rite of passage film The Perks Of Being A Wallflower picked up the Favorite Drama Movie award.

Teen movie The Hunger Games devoured the competition at the People’s Choice Awards, emerging the top victor with five trophies.

Katy Perry won three awards at the Wednesday night ceremony in Los Angeles, at which fans selected the winners in categories spanning music, movies and television.

Hunger Games was named favorite movie, action movie and movie franchise, and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth had fans’ favorite on-screen chemistry. Lawrence also won favorite movie actress and ‘face of heroism.’

Sandra Bullock picked up the show’s first favorite humanitarian award for her efforts in New Orleans.
