Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) President, Ibinabo Fiberesima was one of the best dressed celebrities at the 2014 Africa Magic Viewers Choice awards, so almost everyone looked forward to seeing her at this year’s edition but she somehow failed to show up.

Many of her fans went to town with rumours that her husband, whom she recently got married to, prevented her from showing up.

After keeping mum on the issue, the AGN president has now clarified issues.

“My husband did not prevent me from attending the event, how can he, has nothing against it. I was just down with Migraine, I couldn’t help it, it weighed me down so I had to stay back,” she told us in a chat.

Actor Dayo Amusa, Empress Njamah and Elvis Chucks however claimed they weren’t invited.

“We received no invites,” they told us.
