by Taiwo Damilola

Since 2003, Innocent ‘Tuface’ Idibia is one performer who has managed to remain relevant with every single or album he has released. Now he returns with yet another socially conscious single; “Man Unkind, produced by J. Sleek, with the accompanying video directed by Emma Gecko for Buckwyld Media Network.

The single addresses the rampance of the sale of fake drugs in Nigeria. Tuface releases the single in partnership with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for the FASPAC (Fake And Sub-standard Products Awareness Campaign) project. According to the singer, ‘the menace of fake drugs and sub-standard edible products is one evil every Nigerian has a responsibility to fight for obvious reasons. People involved in the trade are merchants of death and their targets are us – ourselves, family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and compatriots’.
