The Chocolate City Group, parent body of the subsidiaries: Chocolate City Music (home to talents, M.I, Ice Prince and Brymo), Chocolate City Media and Chocolate City Television has announced Hakeem Bello Osagie as it’s board chairman.

Prior to his appointment, Bello-Osagie was chairman of Etisalat Nigeria. A Cambridge university trained lawyer, he also holds degrees from Oxford University and the Harvard Business School. He will be joined on the board by CEO Audu Maikori, Paul Okugo and Yahaya Maikori.

CEO Maikori announced on the company’s website,  ‘‘As Chocolate City enters this new phase of global expansion and rolls out next generation services for its artists, clients and media partners we are very pleased to welcome Mr. Hakeem Osagie an entrepreneur par excellence who shares our passion and vision of creating a world class entertainment brand.”

He went further to extol the virtues of Mr Bello-Osagie, ” will bring to Chocolate City years of vast international experience, relationships and a uniquely successful track record in global business excellence plus invaluable guidance as we execute our objective of building the leading entertainment brand in Africa.”
